Two students, Keshav Krishnan and Zoi Degtiareva, from Junior Conservatorium Maastricht have been selected for the prestigious Spotlight Concours, an event that offers young soloists the chance to stand in the spotlight with the accompaniment of the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra.
The live auditions took place on 19 October, judged by a professional jury consisting of Michael Waterman (artistic director Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra), Naomi Bach (artistic and business director Young Strings and Winds), Hanna Shybayeva (pianist and teacher) and Tatiana Chevtchouk (artistic director KOHA). After an impressive round of auditions, students from Conservatorium Maastricht, Keshav Krishnan (11 years old), student of teacher Joop Celis and Alejandro Serena Llinares, and Zoi Degtiareva (11 years old), student of teacher Julia Dinerstein, were selected to show their talent at the Spotlight Concours. What a great achievement - congratulations!
