Kolja Gibbs,Classical Guitar student at the Master programme, recently won the second prize in the romantic guitar category at the prestigious International Guitar Competition "Omaggio a Niccolò Paganini" in Parma, Italy. The jury was particularly impressed by his interpretation of the first movement of a sonata opus 7, composed by the Viennese musician Bernhard Molitor.
Kolja dedicated his master's research project to this composer, focusing specifically on the interpretation of this work. His dedication and in-depth study have not only led to a better understanding of Molitor's music but also to this remarkable achievement in his career.
