We are thrilled to announce that two bands from Conservatorium Maastricht have been chosen to perform at the prestigious Laren Jazz Festival 2024! This year, Little Big Orchestra, led by Jung Mi Yun (also a finalist for the Hustinx Prize), and Girts Celmins Quartet, a previous finalist for the Award for Innovation in Music, will showcase their talents at this renowned event.
The jury will judge the 6 entries. On Saturday, Oct. 5, these 6 bands, including Little Big Orchestra and Jung Mi Yun, will perform at the Brinkhuis Theater starting at 9:00 p.m., across 6 different venues. The grand finale will take place on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 1:30 p.m. at Brinkhuis Laren.
