Conservatorium Maastricht is proud of junior student Keshav Krishnan, who recently appeared on the television programme Podium Klassiek, where he performed Chopin’s Mazurka and in addition delivered an impressive rendition of Mozart’s 12th Piano Concerto alongside with the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra.
Keshav, an 11-year-old pianist from Belgium, has been studying at the Junior Conservatorium Maastricht for two years under the guidance of Joop Celis and Alejandro Serena. His passion for music began at an early age when, at just five years old, he discovered his love for music during school lessons. Since then, he has devoted himself to developing his talent.
In addition to his conservatory studies, Keshav has already performed on several prestigious stages, including the Muziekcentrum van de Omroep in Hilversum, the Orbetello Seaside Concert, and the Jong Talent Concert in Almere. His performance at Podium Klassiek on January 19 and his concert with the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra on December 7 mark new milestones in his young but promising career.
We congratulate Keshav on these outstanding achievements and look forward to his further musical development!
