More about the Decor, Props and Costumes
Jazmin Harsfalvai - Decor
Step into the enchanting world crafted by Jazmin Harsfalvai, a 27-year-old scenography student from Budapest, as she presents her graduation work, the opera 'Hansel und Gretel.' With a deep appreciation for literature, music, dance, and acting, she is captivated by the integration of various artistic forms; she desires to support those on stage. Within her design philosophy, Jazmin navigates the interplay of geometrical forms and organic elements, infusing a touch of surrealism. She pursues to create an immersive experience, where every brushstroke and set design echoes the essence of the play. Her passion for the arts serves as a guiding light, aiming not only to enchant the audience but to craft a timeless narrative that lingers in the collective memory, transcending the boundaries of the stage.

Jasmin Schulze Kökelsum - Costume Designs
Jasmin Schulze Kökelsum, in the final year of her costume design studies in Maastricht, draws inspiration not only from ballet floors but also from the vibrant realms of fantasy, the animalistic, and the escape from reality. For over 10 years, she has been dancing ballet with heart and soul, and this love for dance has formed a deep connection with her passion for costumes. An internship at the theater in Oldenburg provided insights into the world of stage costumes, while a short film internship sparked her curiosity for the cinematic aspect of design.
Her main focus is on creating fantasy costumes. Authentic expressions matter more to her than exaggerated theatricality. Jasmin aspires to craft not just fabrics but vivid stories and convey emotions in her fantasy costumes—each costume representing its own captivating world.
