About Reed ’n String Duo 
Reed ’n String Duo, founded in May 2024 at the Conservatorium Maastricht by Gabriele di Demetrio and Viola Masciangelo, brings a fresh and surprising combination of saxophone and guitar. With a passion for chamber music, they create a unique sound by bringing well-known works back to life in creative arrangements and performing original compositions for their instruments. Their program “Within Earth and Heart” takes you on a musical journey full of stories about distant lands, deep emotions, and a connection to nature. Let yourself be carried away by this extraordinary sound world where heart and earth come together.

Moving Concerts by Conservatorium Maastricht  
  
In the Moving Concerts, Conservatorium Maastricht collaborates with concert stages in the Euregion. This way they provide concert opportunities for top ensembles, top soloists and other larger ensembles or orchestras. This way, the Euregion can experience what these young musicians can offer, and students can experience how a professional performing career might be like. These young musicians, or ‘moving musicians’, learn about a professional attitude next to their excellent performance quality, which will help them in their professional career. The ‘moving musician’ touches, affects, thrills…
