He performs with leading orchestras, including the Berliner Philharmoniker, London Symphony Orchestra, Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, and Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France.
Described by Gramophone as “the most trailblazing and meteoric performer of all,” Lugansky is a pianist of extraordinary depth and versatility. He is a regular guest at major festivals such as Aspen, Tanglewood, Ravinia, and Verbier, and frequently collaborates in chamber music settings with Leonidas Kavakos, Vadim Repin, Mischa Maisky, and others.
In 2023, he celebrated Rachmaninov’s 150th anniversary with acclaimed performances across Europe, including the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées (Paris), Wigmore Hall (London), Konzerthaus (Vienna & Berlin), BOZAR (Brussels), Rudolfinum (Prague), and the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam).
