Our mission

The Conservatorium Maastricht Foundation is a community of music enthusiasts dedicated to fostering innovation in music. Its mission is rooted in educating talented students from the Classical, Jazz and Music Education Departments at Conservatorium Maastricht.
The Conservatorium Maastricht Foundation aims to promote a musical environment without boundaries, giving students every opportunity to develop as performers/creators, teachers, researchers and/or entrepreneurs. In doing so, they can contribute to the international music world and to society as a whole.

To support musical talent
Studying and developing your talents is a wonderful opportunity. Besides talent, studying at Conservatorium Maastricht requires specific financial resources. Performing requires the purchase and maintenance of a valuable instrument, travel, and special masterclasses or auditions.
The Conservatorium Maastricht Foundation (CMF) is established to support young talented musicians. Thanks to the generous donations of sponsors and friends, this foundation can financially support Conservatorium Maastricht students with the high costs of their studies or an instrument. These donations enable students to fully concentrate on their studies and ultimately excel even more in their profession.

Our Goal
The Conservatorium Maastricht Foundation aims to financially support talented students of the Conservatorium Maastricht in their musical development.

Meri Khojayan
Conservatorium Maastricht Foundation were extremely kind to give me annual financial support. Since I am from Armenia, which is not part of the European Union, my tuition fee was much highter than if I had been an EU citizen. But thanks to the CMF and their sponsorship, my dream came true; I was able to study with violinist Boris Belkin, a performer of outstanding quality and a teacher with a wealth of knowledge that is hard to find nowadays.
I can only say that this foundation understands the difficulties musicians face nowadays, and that the enthusiasm and the hard-working people involved in the foudnation are an example of how any foundation should operate!
