The Bachelor of Music (classical and Jazz) and Music in Education programme at Conservatorium Maastricht, were recently awarded as Top programmes in the Keuzegids hbo 2024, making them now among the best programmes in the Netherlands.
The annual assessment of the national Keuzegids hbo, based among other things on the results of the National Student Survey, found that both the Bachelor of Music (jazz and classical) and the Bachelor of Music in Education (Docent Muziek) have earned the designation 'TOP-programme'.
The Bachelor of Music (classical and jazz), achieved an impressive score of 78 (45 stars), representing a high ranking. In particular, students rated the quality of the teaching team, examination, and the overall atmosphere within the study programme as above average.
The Bachelor of Music in Education has once again earned the label of Top Programme, with a score of 95 points and the highest possible rating of five stars. All aspects of this programme, including the curriculum, the teaching team, examination, career preparation, and the study environment, were rated very positively.
Moreover, Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, of which Conservatorium Maastricht is a part, again has the honour of being rated the third best university of applied sciences in the Netherlands. Many students are satisfied with the personal attention they receive, which contributes to this highly rated position.
