Kathinka Poismans

Kathinka Poismans works as a lecturer and research coach for master and bachelor programmes in music and for music therapy at Conservatorium Maastricht and Codarts, Rotterdam. She holds a PhD in Music Therapy from Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität of Münster, Germnay and has worked for more than 20 years as a senior music therapist and even longer as a musician. She’s frequently invited by foreign universities and institutions to give workshops, lectures, and training courses.
 
Kathinka studied both classical piano and music therapy. Currently, she studies jazz piano at Conservatorium Maastricht.
