From 2–6 January 2026, violin student Tamamì Torsellini took part in the 2nd International Violin Competition Premio Franco Gulli, held in Sacile (Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy).
The competition brings together young violinists from across the world and is dedicated to the legacy of the renowned Italian violinist Franco Gulli. For Tamamì, this marked her first significant international competition experience.
In preparation, she was guided by her professor Kyoko Yonemoto, whose dedicated support played an important role throughout the process. Reflecting on the experience, Tamamì shares that she is grateful for the opportunity to deepen her artistic development and gain valuable stage experience, and she looks forward to future competition opportunities.
