We are proud to announce that Pierre Anfray, former student at Conservatorium Maastricht, recently won the audition for principal timpani at the Orchestre de l’Opéra de Tours/Orchestre Symphonique Régional Centre-Val de Loire!
Pierre has been a student in the percussion class of Raymond Curfs, Mark Haeldermans and Vincent Cox and graduated cum laude in 2023. Since then, Pierre has been freelancing with various national orchestras in France and the Netherlands, been a member of the Orchestre de Paris Academy, and playing with the Utopia Orchestra, amongst others…
