Discover fresh creativity at Conservatorium Maastricht’s Capstone Concert. Third-year students of the Bachelor of Music (Classical) present a series of chamber music performances that blur the lines between tradition and innovation.
This project is part of the theory courses. Working in chamber music groups, students were guided by teachers from different disciplines, including music history, chamber music, and music theory. At the start of the project, each ensemble selected an original chamber music repertoire piece as the foundation for their creative process.
From there, they developed their work through analysis, reflection, improvisation, experimentation, and composition. The concert you are about to hear is the result of this creative journey.
The result? A concert that brings new life to classical music thoughtful, surprising, and deeply engaging.
