Be surprised by the new generation of jazz talents. In this matinee concert you will enjoy wonderful jazz on Sunday, played by our new talents, followed by a cup of coffee or tea with a delicious piece of (apple) pie.
The Junior Jazz Ensemble of the Maastricht Conservatorium aims to bring Euregional young talented musicians together and to enthuse them for jazz music. During the year we work hard on a repertoire in which ensemble playing and improvisation are of paramount importance. The juniors, now a close-knit club, will bring a mix of blues and well-known pieces from the American Songbook, adapted with their own arrangements. Let yourself be carried away in a musical improvisation adventure that is full of fun.
