Digital platforms in music marketing

Steffen will introduce three of the most relevant tools when it comes to current digital music marketing: Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. The first day we’ll discuss the general topics of digital music marketing including streaming services, digital content and digital distribution. The second day provides a hands-on approach with in-depth analyzing of your own online content.

The goal of the workshop is that the participants get a better insight into these digital marketing tools and that they are able to transfer the knowledge they gained into their (music) projects, be it as a musician, management, label etc. The attendees are encouraged to bring their own examples to the workshop in order to discuss improvements with Steffen and the class.
